School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Elk River, Minnesota
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year! This dynamic position supports multiple educational sites, providing vital communication and language services to students and promoting their academic and social success. Both experienced SLPs (with CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply. Assignments may include Northdale Middle School (0.4 FTE), Hamilton Elementary (0.5 FTE), Mississippi Elementary (0.7 FTE), and Rum River (0.3 FTE), combining to create flexible full-time coverage.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota SLP license with dual certifications clearly shown; please submit as a PDF with your resume
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC credential or eligibility; Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship year (CF) welcomed
- Recent experience in K-12 school settings or comparable pediatric caseloads preferred
- Strong organizational and time management abilities across multiple sites
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments for students and develop appropriate IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy, both in group and individual formats, tailored to students’ unique needs
- Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Travel between assigned school sites during the week
