Make a difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students across several school sites near Elk River, MN. This contract opportunity runs from late August 2026 through June 2027, providing essential speech and language services in a collaborative educational environment. Positions are open to both experienced SLPs holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as new Clinical Fellows (CFs) eager to launch their careers in schools.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology license with appropriate dual certifications
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; new grads in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) also encouraged to apply
- Pediatric or school-based SLP experience is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student needs
- Commitment to promoting student growth and inclusion
Role highlights:
- Provide speech-language evaluation, therapy, and support services to students in grades K-12 across multiple sites, including Northdale MS (0.4 FTE), Hamilton ES (0.5 FTE), Mississippi ES (0.7 FTE), and Rum River (0.3 FTE)
- Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Track student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in team meetings
- Deliver direct and consultative services as needed, across approximately 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
