School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Elk River, Minnesota
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students at several local elementary schools for the upcoming academic year. This position is ideal for passionate professionals eager to make a meaningful impact in the school setting. Openings are available for both SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellows (CFs), with six full-time roles distributed across Hamilton ES, Hoover ES, Madison ES, Ramsey ES, University Avenue ES, and Rum River, each with a dedicated caseload.
As an on-site SLP, you will collaborate closely with school teams and families to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support students’ communication skills and overall academic success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota SLP license with dual certification, ready for review (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Previous school-based experience preferred, though strong new graduates will be considered
- Ability to work onsite full time, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Deliver direct therapy and intervention services to an assigned student caseload
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and participate in student support meetings
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth
