Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Elgin, TX

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) welcomed
- Experience in school settings or related healthcare environments
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, including updating progress and developing new goals
- Confident in conducting evaluations and delivering therapy to a diverse population of elementary students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, direct speech and language therapy to students in grades K-5
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations, documenting results and making appropriate recommendations
- Attend IEP meetings to share student progress, participate in goal setting, and collaborate with facilitators and team members
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and regulatory guidelines
- Effectively manage time between therapy, evaluations, and administrative tasks
- Take advantage of hybrid scheduling after staying current on therapy minutes, evaluations, and ensuring no in-person meetings are planned
