Speech Language Pathologist School Based - Near Catonsville
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a school district. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students strengthen communication skills essential for both academic success and everyday interactions.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team working together to support diverse student needs across a school-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop, implement, and manage IEPs
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students (K-12)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
- Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active or eligible Maryland SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates considered
- School-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
