Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | El Cajon, California

Make a meaningful impact throughout the 2026-2027 school year supporting elementary students with mild to moderate disabilities. This contract opportunity offers the chance to use your specialized skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school community, working onsite with a caseload of approximately 55 students. Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), including SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
- Experience in a pediatric or school-based setting strongly preferred
- Background working with students in elementary grades, especially those with mild to moderate disabilities
- Solid understanding of the IEP process and ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Dedication to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to a diverse elementary caseload
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, maintain accurate records, and provide insights for individualized student goals
- Partner with educators, teachers, and families to create tailored interventions
- Serve as a valuable resource for staff and families regarding communication, language, and swallowing needs
- Work exclusively onsite, ensuring hands-on support and collaboration
