Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a full-time school speech-language pathologist in a collaborative educational setting. You’ll make a tangible difference each day, working with a caseload of approximately 23 students—primarily at a single campus, with a handful at nearby buildings. All campuses are conveniently located within a few blocks of each other, streamlining your day-to-day transitions. This contract role is designed to offer stability and meaningful impact throughout the school year, tailoring your daily schedule to the needs of your students with a typical 8:00 am–3:30 pm workday (7.5 hours daily).

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Holds SLP-CCC or is completing a CFY
  • Eligible for (or holds) state licensure and school certification in speech-language pathology
  • Experience with pediatric populations, specifically in elementary-age settings
  • Familiarity with both educational and healthcare-related SLP practices
  • Effective communicator and collaborator with educational staff, parents, and students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and develop individualized plans for students
  • Provide direct therapy services and manage documentation in accordance with IEP requirements
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication needs within the classroom
  • Travel between campus locations as needed, all in close proximity
  • Monitor and document student progress, adapting interventions to maximize outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborative planning sessions with multidisciplinary teams
