A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in East Syracuse, New York, for the 2024-2025 school year. This contract-to-hire role offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, providing services to a K-12 student caseload.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification, including eligibility for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience or training related to school-based therapy
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and other professionals
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Participate in meetings and professional development activities
Location: East Syracuse, New York
Term: 2024-2025 school year
