What You'll Need:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Florida Speech-Language Pathology License
- Preferred: Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations, though open to strong clinical fellows (CFY)
- Familiarity with a range of intervention approaches, such as AAC, PROMPT, and social communication strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork with educators, families, and other allied professionals
- Exceptional recordkeeping, organization, and time management abilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine students’ speech and language strengths and challenges
- Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs and educational goals
- Lead individual and small-group therapy sessions targeting speech, language, and social communication
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain precise documentation on student progress, session outcomes, and intervention plans
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school-based meetings to remain current on best practices
