Key Qualifications:
- Holds valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state
- Demonstrated experience delivering pediatric speech-language services, preferably in schools
- Familiarity with supporting students on the autism spectrum and those requiring life skills development
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Compassion and adaptability within elementary-level settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students in autistic support and life skills classrooms
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and participate in team meetings
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with educators and families
- Deliver proactive interventions, modifications, and support strategies tailored to each learner’s unique needs
- Help foster communication, language, and functional life skills critical for student success
