School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Fredericksburg, Virginia

As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll be a vital part of a dedicated educational community, working on-site across one or more campuses at the elementary, middle, or high school level for the full academic year, August through May.
This full-time, 37.5-hour per week position offers the chance to work with a broad spectrum of student age groups, addressing a diversity of speech and language needs. Key Qualifications:
- Active and current Virginia SLP license required
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Willingness and ability to work on-site (remote and hybrid roles are not available)
- Pass required background check with VA Department of Social Services
- Completion of TB test per Virginia requirements
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with school staff and families
- Flexibility to serve students across various age groups
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Document progress, maintain accurate case records, and comply with school and state requirements
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff to support student success
- Engage with parents and caregivers to coordinate services and progress
- Attend and actively participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development as required
