Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students as determined by individualized education plans
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for communication disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely progress reports for each student
- Participate in student evaluation meetings, IEP teams, and family conferences
- Provide support and resources to teachers and caregivers to integrate communication strategies in the classroom
Qualifications:
- Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Prepared to start VA Dept. of Social Services background check immediately
- Completion or ability to quickly obtain a TB Test as required by state regulation
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong communication and organizational skills
