Qualifications that will set you up for success:
- Current or anticipated SLP licensure (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY)
- Previous experience in school-based speech-language pathology or pediatric care
- Comfortable working with K-12 populations, tailoring interventions by developmental level
- Skills in teletherapy and in-person therapy models
- Collaborative attitude, able to partner with educators, caregivers, and support staff
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
In this role, you will:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers
- Provide direct and indirect services to support student progress, whether in person or via teletherapy when applicable
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings and data-driven decision making
