Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations, including early childhood and K–12 students
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and communication skills
- Ability to individualize therapy for varying caseloads, from moderate to profound needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across K–12, adjusting methods as needed
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals and progress
- Document sessions and maintain compliance with educational and legal standards
