Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Experience working within school settings, providing therapy to pediatric populations
- Skill in conducting evaluations, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and creating dynamic treatment plans
- Strong collaborative skills for teaming with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency needs, using standardized assessment tools
- Develop, implement, and track progress on IEP goals in alignment with district and federal guidelines
- Provide ongoing consultation to classroom teachers and other school personnel regarding student needs and strategies
- Engage families in the therapeutic process and offer resources for at-home support
- Maintain detailed records, write concise progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture by fostering communication success for all students
