Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in school-based SLP roles strongly preferred
- Ability to support a diverse student population with varying speech and language needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams, including teachers and support staff
- Comfort adapting interventions to different age groups and educational environments
- Compassionate, student-centered approach to therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEP goals
- Deliver engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions across both elementary and secondary levels
- Maintain clear documentation and progress monitoring
- Offer consultative support to teachers and families regarding student needs and best practices
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and advocacy for students’ speech and language growth
