Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Possession of (or working toward) the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Experience in school settings, pediatric caseloads, and/or healthcare environments
- Proficiency or a comfort level with delivering teletherapy services
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans targeting students’ unique needs and academic goals
- Document progress, write thorough reports, and participate in IEP meetings with educators and families
- Consult with teaching staff and caregivers to promote carryover and support student success
- Adapt services to include in-person or remote (teletherapy) delivery as needed
- Maintain compliance with state and district policies and professional standards
