Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Sterling Heights, MI

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid SLP license or eligibility in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred; candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) also welcome
- Experience with school-based or pediatric populations
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms, or a willingness to be trained
- Strong skills in assessment, developing individualized education plans, and progress monitoring
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver a range of speech, language, and communication therapy services to students in K-12 settings, including both in-person and virtual support as needed
- Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Maintain accurate records and data for IEP documentation and progress reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student intervention teams
- Provide training and consultation to educational staff and parents regarding speech/language development and strategies
