Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) accepted
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Deliver therapy sessions tailored to each student's specific needs, both individually and in groups
- Consult with teachers and families to integrate speech/language strategies into the classroom and home environments
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to support students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Contribute to continuing improvement of school-based therapy services
