Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current licensure as an SLP in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with adolescents in school settings, particularly middle and high school
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Familiarity with developing and carrying out IEPs for speech/language needs
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ communication abilities using standardized tools and clinical observations
- Develop individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services onsite
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and support staff, to support students’ academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations
- Maintain thorough records and track student progress toward goals
