Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active SLP license and credentials required for school-based practice
- Experience working with middle and/or high school students is highly desirable
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and related documentation
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong organizational abilities and adaptability within a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing speech, language, and communication needs
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert input and maintaining required records
- Consult with educators and families to implement effective strategies and supports
- Integrate therapy goals with classroom activities to facilitate student progress
- Monitor and document student outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed
