Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure for speech-language pathology
- Previous experience in school settings, particularly with middle and high school students, strongly preferred
- Knowledgeable in developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and collaborating with educational staff
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, onsite speech and language therapy to students in grades 6–12
- Evaluate, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide input, and monitor progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state reporting requirements
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other staff to promote carryover of skills
- Foster an inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported
