This contract role spans the full academic year and focuses on providing intervention and assessment services for elementary and middle school students (K-8) across one or two schools. The district fosters collaboration and offers supervision for those working towards their clinical fellowship or for assistants.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS 1 endorsement required
- Bilingual fluency to support diverse student needs
- Experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work the full school year, from mid-August to late May
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-8 students on a bilingual caseload
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Keep thorough records of student progress and comply with all required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to program development
- Travel between one to two assigned schools within the district
