Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license for Illinois
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and school-based therapy models
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Duties:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs
- Maintain detailed records, documentation, and progress reports according to district and state requirements
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and best practices in the school environment
