As a valued member of the team, you will work with a diverse caseload, utilizing your skills and expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders. Your knowledge will be instrumental in helping students reach their full potential and communicate confidently across various settings.

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license for Illinois
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and school-based therapy models
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Duties:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs
  • Maintain detailed records, documentation, and progress reports according to district and state requirements
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and best practices in the school environment
