An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a leading charter school network servicing communities from Chicago up to North Chicago. This full-time, in-person assignment runs from July 20, 2026, through June 11, 2027, and offers the chance to support students across multiple school sites, primarily serving PreK-8th grade. Candidates experienced in educational settings and passionate about working with diverse populations will thrive in this supportive environment. Bilingual (Spanish) skills are highly preferred to further assist the network’s multilingual student body, though not required.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP license (Illinois)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Prior experience in school-based settings
  • Comfortable working with PreK-8th grade students
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Bilingual (Spanish) highly valued, but not mandatory

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students individually and in group settings
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Conduct thorough speech-language assessments and document progress
  • Offer support and guidance to teachers and families regarding communication strategies
  • Collaborate with educational staff to foster inclusive classroom environments
  • Rotate between multiple school campuses as needed, with primary coverage at PreK-8 and K-8 sites
