Two onsite Speech Language Pathologists are needed to join a dedicated school district just outside of Denton, TX, for a contract position from ASAP through May 26, 2027. This role offers the chance to provide expertise across K-12 campuses, with specific caseloads to be determined, fostering growth and inclusion for a diverse student body.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC required)
- Prior experience in a school-based SLP role highly desirable
- Understanding of individualized education plans (IEP) and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Capable of supervising SLPAs onsite, cultivating a collaborative, encouraging work environment
- Dedication to serving and advocating for students from diverse backgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy for assigned K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Document progress and maintain required records in compliance with district and legal guidelines
- Support, mentor, and supervise onsite SLPAs as needed
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to holistic student care
