As an SLP with CCC certification and recent school-based experience, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver specialized speech-language services tailored to young learners. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, ideally in a PreK-6th grade setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches in a resourceful, student-centered environment
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy for students requiring speech and language support
- Collaborate closely with educators, special education staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in eligibility/IEP meetings
- Serve as an advocate for student success by offering consultative services and strategies for classroom integration
- Foster a supportive, encouraging learning atmosphere while working with a manageable caseload in a smaller school environment
