Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience with school-based populations strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of assessment tools and best practices for both evaluation and intervention
- Comfortable with a diverse student population, including those with varying communication needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage both ongoing caseloads and timely completion of elementary assessments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for elementary, middle, and high school students
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to address identified needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Track and document progress diligently, adjusting therapy as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and insights
- Provide support, guidance, and training to teachers and parents as appropriate
