Step into a key role supporting elementary learners and delivering specialized care as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity runs through May 2026, focusing on a dedicated caseload of around 60 students with moderate to significant support needs. What You’ll Bring:

  • Current, active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist License or GaPSC Certificate; willingness to secure both
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Prior experience in school settings, especially delivering therapy to elementary-age students
  • Comfort working with students who have moderate intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders
  • Solid collaboration and communication skills for engaging with teachers, specialists, and families
  • Organization to manage assessments, therapy logs, and IEP documentation
  • Positive, flexible approach and enthusiasm for making a measurable difference

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite speech-language services, including screenings, evaluations, intervention, and progress tracking
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s learning plan
  • Document services, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Communicate regularly with families and staff regarding progress and strategies
  • Serve as a resource for language development and communication supports across the school community
