What You’ll Bring:
- Current, active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist License or GaPSC Certificate; willingness to secure both
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience in school settings, especially delivering therapy to elementary-age students
- Comfort working with students who have moderate intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders
- Solid collaboration and communication skills for engaging with teachers, specialists, and families
- Organization to manage assessments, therapy logs, and IEP documentation
- Positive, flexible approach and enthusiasm for making a measurable difference
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite speech-language services, including screenings, evaluations, intervention, and progress tracking
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s learning plan
- Document services, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate regularly with families and staff regarding progress and strategies
- Serve as a resource for language development and communication supports across the school community
