Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Valid state SLP license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Experience in school-based practice or with pediatric populations preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational skills and adaptability in dynamic school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver intervention services to students with diverse speech and language needs
- Participate in student IEP meetings, data analysis, progress monitoring, and documentation in accordance with federal and state guidelines
- Provide consultation and support to teachers, school staff, and caregivers to promote generalization of skills in the classroom
- Maintain compliance with special education policies and ethical standards of the profession
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology and teletherapy
