Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Oakland, Oregon

- Holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in pediatrics or school-based settings
- Proficient in healthcare-related SLP practices and documentation
- Comfortable utilizing teletherapy platforms to deliver services remotely when needed
- Holds (or eligible for) appropriate state licensure/certification for school-based SLPs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from diverse backgrounds
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver therapy sessions individually or in groups, both onsite and via teletherapy
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve targeted outcomes
- Participate in team meetings, professional learning, and parent conferences to support student success
