Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois SLP license
  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Previous experience in school settings or pediatric populations valued
  • Interest in working with diverse student needs across age groups
  • CFYs welcome—mentorship and support available
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a valued asset, but not required

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based interventions for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
  • Communicate progress, strategies, and recommendations with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Adapt therapy techniques to suit individual student goals and milestones
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all direct and indirect services
