School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Danbury, Connecticut

Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut SLP license (required)
- Credentials: CCC-SLP or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous school-based SLP experience or strong desire to work in a school setting
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for middle school populations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services and interventions for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and participate in meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to create effective strategies for inclusion and progress
- Document and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Offer guidance and support to families regarding student progress and home reinforcement strategies
