Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California
- Expertise in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school setting
- Experience developing individualized education programs (IEPs) and documenting progress
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and support staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and speech/language therapy interventions for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student performance and recommendations
- Stay current on best practices in the field and integrate evidence-based therapies
