Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC required)
- Minimum of one year experience working in a school setting
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Experience with elementary populations; self-contained classroom background is a plus
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
- No SLPA or Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, supporting bilingual language development
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and provide thorough evaluations
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams and families to support student success
- Travel to elementary campuses within the district as required
