Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Cypress, Texas

This contract opportunity offers the flexibility to work three days per week, with your choice of days and school level—elementary or secondary. You’ll work on-site, providing high-quality speech and language services to support the educational and developmental needs of children.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school or healthcare environment
- Knowledge of assessments, therapy techniques, and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
- Ability to organize caseload and manage time effectively
- State licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop tailored treatment plans and provide therapy in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support
- Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
