Candidates will also have their choice of working with either elementary or secondary students, allowing you to play to your strengths and interests while supporting student success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Valid SLP licensure in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility required
- Experience in a pediatric, school-based, or healthcare environment strongly preferred
- Ability to work on-site, providing direct services to students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students according to IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop goals, and maintain progress documentation
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Offer tailored interventions to support student communication, language, and learning
- Engage in team meetings and provide training or recommendations as appropriate
- Foster an inclusive, positive environment for students’ social and academic growth
