School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Corona, California
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a leave replacement Speech-Language Pathologist, beginning January 4th through the end of March—with the potential for an extension. This position will place you at a single site near Corona, CA, providing services to a caseload of 55 students, including both speech-only and resource students. Your expertise will make a tangible difference for young learners during a critical period of their academic journey.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and SLP-CCC credential
- Prior experience in a school setting, especially with elementary-aged students
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, speech/language intervention, and education support services
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and organize a caseload efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of elementary students
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation
- Work collaboratively with resource teachers and classroom staff to support student progress
- Provide consultation to staff and families regarding speech and language development strategies
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to IEP reviews, and communicate progress to stakeholders
Role Details:
- Contract position starting January 4th through the end of March (extension possible)
- Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–3:00 pm, totaling 35 hours per week
- Manage a caseload at one elementary site consisting of 55 students with varying needs
