Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certificate required (eventually both will be needed; either accepted to start)
- Open to SLP-CCC, Clinical Fellows (CF), and Speech-Language Assistants (with GaPSC certification)
- Experience in an elementary school environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
- Passion for supporting students with diverse communication needs
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech/language therapy to elementary students according to IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility reports
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Develop and implement engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions
- Ensure thorough, timely completion of required paperwork
This position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with an assignment running through the end of May 2027. You’ll have the opportunity to help young students find their voice, working onsite in a supportive school environment.
