Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP license or GaPSC Certification (must eventually obtain both; either accepted initially)
- Consideration for SLAs with current GaPSC certification
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates welcome
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-age children
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative school team environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students onsite
- Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders and develop appropriate intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals and foster student success
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide consultation and education to staff and families on strategies for improving communication skills
