Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP (CFY or CCC) or SLPA
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Team-oriented mindset for interprofessional collaboration
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in school-based environments
- Screen, assess, and document student progress with evidence-based practice
- Develop, update, and track IEP goals in collaboration with IEP team members
- Consult and collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other educational staff
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary care of each student
- Offer input and resources for classroom modifications or accommodations as needed
