What You’ll Bring:
- Active Texas SLP license (issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation)

- Experience in school-based speech therapy, preferably with high school-aged students
- Advanced proficiency with AAC, specifically eye gaze systems and Accent devices (programming, calibration, maintenance)
- Familiarity with providing both direct and indirect assistive technology support within an educational setting
- Strong interpersonal, consulting, and collaboration abilities with educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver up to 2 hours per week of in-person SLP and assistive technology support at a single high school campus
- Work directly with a student, programming and calibrating their Accent eye gaze device, ensuring their communication needs are met
- Offer indirect consultation and support to the broader educational team, including training and technical assistance
- Maintain clear documentation of services, interventions, and progress
- Provide recommendations regarding optimal use of educational technology for the student’s needs
