Step into a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathology role in a vibrant educational environment serving students across the Coachella Valley. This opportunity focuses on onsite engagement, supporting students primarily at the PreK level, with a strong likelihood of itinerant responsibilities throughout the district. The assignment begins in the 2026-2027 school year and requires a commitment of more than one full-year placement.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP license with CCC status, or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility
- Certificate of Clearance (COC) required prior to start
- Bilingual Spanish skills are highly valued; highly qualified monolingual candidates will be considered
- Prior experience in school settings and familiarity with SEIS is advantageous
- Experience with CA Medicaid (Paradigm) is a plus
- Skilled in supporting diverse student needs, ranging from mild/moderate to some severe, including familiarity with AAC devices
- Willingness to work as an itinerant SLP, traveling between school sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive onsite speech-language pathology services for PreK and K-12 students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support individualized student success
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and document student progress in line with district protocols
- Support both monolingual and bilingual caseloads
- Engage actively in professional development and adapt to evolving district priorities
