Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required; willing to consider Clinical Fellows (CF).
- Certificate of Clearance (COC) required before assignment.
- Strong preference for bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates, but monolingual applicants will also be considered.
- Experience working in a school setting or with SEIS documentation preferred.
- Previous exposure to CA Medicaid (Paradigm) processes is a plus.
- Comfortable supporting a caseload that is primarily mild-moderate, with opportunities to work with severe needs students and AAC devices.
- Willingness to work in an itinerant capacity across sites, with a primary focus on PreK.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students onsite.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain thorough documentation, contribute to SEIS, and ensure compliance with state mandates.
- Support both English and bilingual learners as appropriate, utilizing AAC devices as needed.
