Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active and current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in school settings or significant pediatric experience is highly valued
- Proficiency with evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills with attention to documentation and reporting
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress, IEPs, and assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer guidance, resources, and strategies to faculty and families to foster student communication skills
