Ideal Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP license and ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students in a school or pediatric setting
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEP goals, collaborate with teachers and families, and track student progress
- Organized, detail-oriented, and compassionate in approach
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for referred students
- Provide direct therapy sessions targeting speech, language, and communication skills
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Engage families and teachers to foster consistent support in and out of the classroom
