Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Relevant state licensure required
- Proven experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings
- Strong understanding of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively and independently to address student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and therapy plans tailored to IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in both individual and group formats
- Regularly monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, faculty collaborations, and IEP development
- Guide and educate teachers, staff, and families on strategies for supporting student development
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric and educational speech-language services
