Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience in school-based SLP services, particularly at the secondary level
- Skilled in teletherapy for those interested in the virtual (VOCO) option
- Strong background in supervising support staff or assistants
- Knowledgeable in conducting ARDs, progress monitoring, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support SLPAs or other speech staff as assigned
- Lead and participate in ARD meetings, providing expert input on student progress and intervention planning
- Perform speech-language evaluations, eligibility determinations, and reassessments for students in grades 6 through 12
- Develop targeted intervention strategies and treatment plans aligned with student educational goals
- Collaborate with school teams, families, and educational professionals to ensure student-centered care
- Maintain up-to-date records, document progress, and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines
