Key Qualifications:
- Hold current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience delivering SLP services in schools
- Proficient in both VOCO (virtual/teletherapy) and onsite service delivery
- Comfortable supervising SLP assistants or support staff
- Experience conducting assessments and crafting individualized education plans (IEPs) for secondary-level students
- Strong background participating in and conducting ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students at the secondary school level, onsite or virtually
- Supervise and mentor team members or assistants as needed
- Perform assessments and evaluate students for speech and language needs
- Attend and contribute to ARD meetings, ensuring compliance with all documentation and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with school policies
