This contract opportunity is located near Sacramento, CA and is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) passionate about working with children and school-aged populations. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual needs
- Provide direct therapy sessions addressing speech, language, voice, and fluency goals
- Maintain meticulous records of student progress and program effectiveness
- Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Involve and guide families throughout the therapy process and progress updates
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (SLP-CFY) considered
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric clients is strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a valued team player
- Compliance with state board licensure requirements for Speech-Language Pathology
