Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Comfort with assessments, IEP development, and collaboration with teachers and families
- Bilingual skills are highly valued and considered a big plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to middle school students in accordance with established IEP goals
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress reports to monitor student growth
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families for wraparound support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
- Deliver intervention sessions in both individual and small group formats as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and district protocols
