Ideal candidates possess:
- A valid SLP license and certification (CCC or CFY considered)
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
- Knowledge of assessments, treatment planning, and progress monitoring for students with diverse speech and language needs
- The ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- A bilingual background is strongly preferred and highly valued
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to middle school students, both individually and in small groups
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and work closely with teachers and families
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance with documentation requirements
- Support students’ academic and social success through targeted interventions and consultation.
